Harry Styles Slane Concert Warnings

The June 10th Slane Castle event is sold out and is expected to bring travel disruption to towns like Drogheda, Navan, Kells and Duleek. No tickets will be available at the venue and an Garda Síochána will be conducting ticket checks on all approach routes, so it's essential to have a valid ticket before traveling. The event is outdoors, and it will proceed regardless of the weather conditions. Re-admission is not permitted, so attendees should ensure they have everything they need.

Important reminders include organising transportation in advance and allowing an additional 3 hours for travel to and from the venue. Tickets must be downloaded and transferred beforehand. Attendees should wear comfortable flat shoes, charge their phones and bring battery packs, dress appropriately for Irish weather, stay hydrated, and learn about the halo effect, which involves forming a circle of phone torches to signal for help if someone is in trouble.

For attendees under 16 years old, a parent or guardian aged over 25 must accompany them. Unaccompanied minors will be denied entry. It is advised not to purchase tickets from unreliable sources and to use Ticketmaster for resale.

Transport options such as buses and car parks are available, but they should be booked in advance. There will be designated car parks, and it's important to follow the traffic management plans. Private coach companies must book into a dedicated bus park and should not park on the roadside.

Ticket checks and searches will be conducted by An Garda Síochána and event security. Only ticketholders will be allowed past road closure points. Catering and bar facilities will be available onsite, but no outside alcohol is allowed. Water points are located throughout the venue, and proof of age is required for alcohol purchase or entry.

Certain items are prohibited, including folding chairs, animals (except registered working dogs), large backpacks, glass, cans, umbrellas, alcohol, professional cameras, and items that can be used as weapons. It is the attendees' responsibility to be aware of the full list of prohibited items.

Respect for the local community, including littering and illegal parking, is emphasised. Customer care representatives will be available for assistance, and additional queries can be directed to the event organizers.
